Looking for a way to earn some extra money this fall? Apply now to work at least 4 days a week on our beautiful farm in Loveland, Ohio as a Hay Ride Driver! Training is provided.
The Hay Ride Driver position safely drives a tractor pulling a hay wagon for our Fall on the Farm event, September 13 – November 2, 2025.
In addition to driving a hay ride you can also apply to drive our NEW trackless train. The trackless train is an 80-foot train with an engine, coal car, two coaches and a handicap accessible caboose. The Engine is powered by a hydrostatic John Deere 1025 tractor.
Drivers must demonstrate mechanical aptitude, coachability and learn to be comfortable pulling 20 ft wagons of families. This position gets the most interaction with guests enjoying their farm visit. Applicants must have experience operating a vehicle with a clutch, pulling a trailer or wagon, be available for a minimum of 4 shifts per week and must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Shifts are 8:30am – 3:30pm Mon. – Fri., 3:30pm – 7:00pm Mon. – Fri. and 9am – 7pm Saturdays and Sundays.
Qualifications & Skills
Have experience working on a farm or similar setting
Proficient operating an agricultural tractor (45 – 100 horsepower) with a clutch
Experience maneuvering a trailer
Willingness to work in an outdoor setting regardless of weather conditions
Must be able to work at least 4 shifts a week. The ability to work nights and weekends is preferred.
Salary & Benefits
$20 per hour up to 40 hours a week
