Photo Policy

We welcome local photographers to the farm to take photos and use our berry “gourd”eous farm as a background for your photos all year!

Please read this in its entirety before planning your visit:
  • Photographers may come to Fall on the Farm, Strawberry Days or other ticketed events for photoshoots. Everyone in your party must purchase an admission ticket (clients and photographers)
  • Please, NO excessive photography team, equipment, tools, props or other gear outside of a small camera bag that can be carried easily through the farm. This is to ensure no disruption of other patrons while they visit.
  • No Drones
  • Please, no solicitation or sales of photography packages/shoots while on the premises with guests you are not working with. Any photographers who are seen self-promoting/selling their photography services will be asked to leave immediately, with no refund on their admission.
  • Our sunflower field will begin blooming by late September/early October. Please do not cut sunflowers as props.
  • When thinking about times to schedule your clients, be aware that admission is ONLINE ONLY. Tickets are available in intervals. Weekend tickets may sell out well in advance for our popular events.
  • Please note that event weekends are busy and will have a lot of people who may be in the background of your photos. Please be kind and courteous to all guests, and don’t let the photo sessions disrupt their experience.
  • We will NOT be offering any special “golden hour” times outside of regular business hours. We will have two special events that take place in the evening in the fall, and Pups, Pints, and Pumpkins. There will also be additional evening events throughout the year like pop-up u-pick evenings. You may purchase admission to any of these events along with your clients to come and take photos. Same rules above apply.

Dog Policy

Dogs are not allowed in the U-Pick fields due to food safety concerns.  Friendly dogs on a 6 ft non-retractable leashes are welcome in our public areas.  Dogs cannot be reactive or stressed due to situations found on a farm or in public places. This includes but is not limited to: animals, kids, dogs etc. Please note, we cannot allow dogs on the hayride due to the close proximity to other guests.  Some years, dogs are also not permitted in the corn maze as the hayride is the only way to access the corn maze depending on where the maze is growing that year.   Additionally dog handlers must be adults and only one dog per handler please.  We also cannot watch or “sit” your dog while you are “hayriding”.  Thank you for helping us keep our farm dog friendly.
Dogs are welcome to Fall on the Farm, but we have a few guidelines:
  • Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash, no longer than 6-feet.
  • Dogs must be well-behaved and friendly with other dogs, humans, and farm animals.
  • Certain activities such as hayrides & bounce pad are not dog friendly.
  • Handlers must be age 18+, one dog per handler.
  • Dogs are not allowed on the hayrides due to the safety of the dogs and other riders on the hayride.
  • Dogs will not be able to go out to the corn maze and pumpkin patch since the only way out to these areas is on a hayride.
Blooms & Berries reserves the right to remove any dog not offering a great experience to our guests, team, or animals.

Strawberry season is Mid May – Early June. Blueberry season is Mid-Late June. Blackberry season is Mid July. During that time we send text messages out to announce berry picks.  Please see our U-Pick pages to sign up for quick messages when fruit is ripe.  Be sure to sign up for U-Pick Text Updates and we’ll let you know when the crop is ready to pick!

Sometimes we pick out of fruit and we need to rest the field to ripen for another pick later in the week. We try very hard to manage the field for the greater good, and sometimes closing a field that is picked out is the best option. This makes the most of your visit by ensuring when you come there are plenty of ripe, sweet, delicious berries to take home!

We grow multiple berry crops here at Blooms & Berries. Click on the below links to learn more about each season. Walk-ups for berry picking are now available and a pre-purchased Field Pass is required to pick. Please sign up for berry picking updates to stay in the know of our next pick.

Be sure to sign up for Berry Picking Updates and we will keep you posted on the progress of our crop!

Yes. For the Spring/Summer Season, adults (ages 15+) do need an adult Play Yard Pass. Please note, this is only for the Play Yard & Petting Farm. Separate ticketing is required for special events or U-Picks during the summer as well as any other ticketed event.

Yes! We offer Fall Birthday Parties during our Fall on the Farm event in September and October. If you have a summer birthday, you are welcome to spend your special day at the farm with the purchase of a Play Yard pass. Both Children (ages 2+) and adults will be required to purchase a Play Yard Pass. We also offer Fall Group Events during our Fall on the Farm event. Please note we do not host large groups during any other season of the year.

More information about bringing your group to the farm:

We are an authentic working farm with uneven terrain and are of course susceptible to recent weather conditions. Gym shoes are always recommended over flip flops or heels, but hiking boots are really the best, especially if it’s rained recently, you plan on getting lost in the corn maze, etc.

We are working on becoming more wheelchair accessible, but currently wheelchairs need to navigate turf and gravel. In the Fall, it is very difficult to take wheelchairs or strollers in the corn maze. Our Market Barn & Garden Center feature concrete floors so navigation is easier in those areas.

We are open and operate in a lite rain or mist but will close down attractions during inclement weather.  We do our best to contact ticketed attendees via email or text in the event of any change due to weather.

Our Sunflower field is planted to bloom the very first weekend or two of Fall On The Farm. We typically aim for bloom starting around Sept 15th-20th but weather often can move bloom forward or back. Always check our Fall On The Farm Page for current sunflower info.

During Fall on the Farm, Farmer Frank’s Grill offers beer brats & hot dogs from 11am – 5:30pm on the weekends, and hot dogs at the side porch bakery for lunch during the week. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch. No glass or outside alcohol please.
