Bakery Team Member at Blooms & Berries
Job Description:
Work as a Bakery Team Member alongside the head baker, or independently four days a week starting immediately. Duties include but are not limited to scratch baking of sweet breads, cookies, pies and more, bake off items, and serve customers over the counter as needed. Additionally, the Bakery Team Member will help maintain the work space through packaging and restocking product, managing supplies, cleaning, and other duties. Enjoy working with newer equipment as part of our amazing team.
Candidates Should Demonstrate:
- A passion for delicious foods
- Balance of enthusiasm and humility to integrate well into our team culture.
- Ability to remain organized and follow recipes or procedural directions.
- An interest in learning and developing new hand and culinary skills.
Requirements:
- 25-30 hours a week availability
- Ability to consistently stand or walk on concrete
- Ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment
- Ability to efficiently perform tasks and be attentive to detail while multi-tasking
- Physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to significant walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, stretching, and repetitive movements.
